Can these headphones give you the same experience as Oscar and Grammy award-winning recording engineers and artists enjoy?
Don’t fall into the marketing scam. There is no need to spend thousands of dollars on headphones?!! The best set of headphones I have ever bought in terms of value are the Sony MD7506s. These Sony headphones have been around for over 20 years and only costs around 700 HKD.
While I was attending UCLA’s Music Production programme, most of the students were on very tight budgets as far as buying gear for the class which included headphones, software, and mixing consoles. Fortunately, most of our lecturers were industry professionals who worked with chart-topping artists or had vast experience in music production for movies and TV. They also understood that the students at UCLA typically don’t have the means to spend thousands of dollars on equipment.

from my Music Production class suggested that we invest in the Sony MD 7506 headphones. I bought them immediately on Amazon and could not believe how comfortable they were and how incredible they sounded.

The quality of the headphones is just excellent for the affordable price range. They have very clear bass, mid, and treble dynamic range. The earphone pads are also very comfortable if you need to wear them for a long time. The pads are not made with leather, however, so they do peel off after a while. That said, you can buy extra pads for just about 10 USD. The MDR 7506 it’s not exactly what you would call “cool looking” gear. However, if you are serious about sound quality, this is the one that could gives you the comfortness and satisfaction.
These headphones are also very popular with sound engineers and TV, music, and, film producers due to their isolation capability, a.k.a. noise reduction. For the quality, price and enjoyment, I would strongly recommend these headphones to all my friends. I also thank Darryl for his recommendation.
